On February 2, 2024 , the Little Sisters of the Poor community and 14 other religious communities gathered together to celebrate the World Day of Consecrated Life at St. Augustine Home of the Little Sisters of the Poor. The Theme for this year was“ Pilgrims of Hope on the Path of Peace”. Forty-eight religious and four young women guests came. Everyone proceeded to the Chapel to open the gathering with communal prayer and adoration. Each community representative carried in procession a lit candle on the altar and each placed it around the Blessed Sacrament. At the conclusion of prayer and adoration, everyone spent the next few hours together sharing meal, songs, dances and fun together.
